An accomplished television broadcasting executive, Allyson Meyers holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She subsequently relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, following a successful career in sports advertising sales at Madison Square Garden in New York to assist in the start up of Sports Channel now Fox Sports. She additionally served consecutive tenures as national sales manager, general sales manager, and station manager with Tribune Broadcasting. In 2010, she accepted a position as vice president/general sales manager with the Fox owned and operated WTXF-TV, Fox 29 in market rank #5 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After three years at Fox29, Allyson Meyers returned to Florida, when she was promoted to vice president/general manager of the Fox-owned and operated Orlando station duopoly WOFL-TV/WRBW-TV, as well as WOGX-TV Fox 51 in Gainesville, Florida. In this leadership role, Ms. Meyers has jurisdiction of 164 employees with direct oversight in the news, engineering, sales, programming, creative services, finance and human resources areas. A skilled communicator and negotiator, she also spearheads community advocacy and strategic business outreach.
